Firefighters responding Friday to a report of a possible structure fire instead found a man grilling on a charcoal grill inside his home and 22 marijuana plants growing in the bathroom, Lamoille County police said.

As a result of the visit, Robert Schrader, 29, of Hyde Park, Vt., was charged with violations of conditions, possession of marijuana and cultivation of marijuana.Firefighters responded to his 36 Common Wealth Ave. apartment at 5:26 p.m. and noticed Schrader had been using his grill indoors.
